This is Milo. He was adopted from the Camarillo Shelter by a lovely family. The kids had been begging for a dog and they fell in love with Milo. They took Milo to a vet and they were devastated by the news that he had a luxating patella and surgery would be thousands of dollars. This family was faced with a tough decision. Should they return him to the shelter? The kids were already attached. They reached out to Furry Funding for help. We were able to get Milo into our vet for a second opinion. We are so thankful to report that Milo is fine and does not need a surgery. Happy to report that Milo and his kids are living happily ever after.
