Maddie is an emotional support dog for a woman that is disabled and is having difficulty even paying for her own medical needs. We were able to get Maddie into a vet for an exam, and Maddie had a tumor that needed to be removed. It is causing her pain and discomfort. They also wanted to do a dental while she was under anesthesia. We were able to get her in, and the total was $1300. It was a good thing they did the dental because she had several teeth that had severe furcation (tooth root exposure) and one that had a gingival flap. She must have been in so much pain.
