Penelope was suffering from a skin issue that were progressively getting worse. Her owner was recently housed after being homeless in the Ventura river bottom. He reached out to Furry Funding to get care for Penelope.
He is doing everything he can to stay financially stable while dealing with serious personal and medical challenges. Penelope has been his emotional support and constant companion. Seeing her pain and not being able to help is incredibly difficult.
Furry Funding was able to get her into a vet in Ventura and was able to get Penelope fixed up.
