Amara is only eight years old and had a tumor that had been tested and is cancer and it needed to be removed. She also had some bad teeth that need to be removed. Amara’s mom is currently going through a nasty divorce and doesn’t make enough to even cover her bills. She didn’t want Amara to suffer, so she reached out to Furry Funding. We were able to get her into Buena Vet with Dr. Jeff Ohm and get her all fixed up. The estimates for the surgery was $1400 on the low end to over $2000 on the high end. The total for her surgery was $1,075. We just received this note from Amara’s mom and this picture of her smiling. “She is doing better than I ever would have thought. She gets a hamburger patty every night to get her meds in her. She has been off pain meds for a few days.”
