Axel

Axel is SAFE!! Axel and his owner Zayla were involved in a rollover car crash on a mountain road in the fire stricken areas of Malibu, CA a few days ago. After hitting some mud debris Zayla’s car flipped 3 times and landed in a gully up against the hillside. Zayla, who is lucky to be alive, was frantic and desperate for help in finding her dog Axel so our team went out as soon as they could to search. We had been working closely with Axel’s family the past few days including Helen, Zayla’s Mom but there had been no sightings. A few days after the crash, Axel was sighted by family friends not too far from the crash site. Unfortunately after being sighted he then ran away crossing Kanan and was now going up a hill! The sighters called us and stayed in the area so we could get there asap, as we were close by. With some work from our team, a little patience from the city workers in the area, our team and Helen were able to get in and get him secured safely. He was very happy to see his “grandma” Helen! Miraculously he appears great! He was headed straight to the vet and we will update you more about the details of his story and condition when we can! Hope you enjoy the video.
