Chaparro is only 4 years old and was in desperate need of help. He escaped the front door and before his owner could catch him, he was hit by a car. The car didn’t even stop and after xrays it was determined he had a broken pelvis. The
estimates we were getting were between $6800 to $7400. The owners are low income and they had taken out care credit to take him VSEC emergency. Furry Funding along with Dr. Jeff Ohm and Buena Vet were able to get Chaparro the surgery he needed. Dr Jeff Ohm donated his time and Buena Vet donated the facility.
We only had to pay for the Orthopedic Surgeons time, expenses, and supplies. Chaparro is on the road to recovery and his people are so grateful. They sent us this adorable Thank You Letter.
