Chubbs was taken to VMSG for not being able to urinate. They tried to unblock him and were not successful. We also paid Paw Works to see if they could unblock him, but were not successful either and said that VMSC had caused tears in his urethra. Chubbs needed to have a perineal urethrostomy surgery. Chubb’s owner is a young man that inherited this cat from his dad after his dad passed away and said that Chubbs is the only thing he has left from his father. Furry Funding worked tirelessly to get this taken care of. Thanks to Slaton vet for performing the surgery. The cost for the surgery was $3200. Furry Funding picked up $1,500 of it, and one of the founders gave Chubb’s dad a personal loan to pay back the rest. Time was critical and Furry Funding is low on funds. Please donate to help Furry Funding get the care for these animals that is needed. .
Chubbs is doing well and just had his stitches out and was able to get the cone removed. He is now back to his normal self.
