We received a call from Oreo’s mom that Oreo wasn’t doing well. His organs were enlarged and he was starating to lose his hai
r in areas. She was so very worried that Oreo needed surgery and she could not afford any of it.
We were able to get Oreo in for a consultation, blood work, and x-rays. The initial cost for the consultation was $451.00
The vet said Oreo’s organs were fine, he was just a little overweight. The tests came back non-conclusive and the next step was to perform an ultrasound. The vet is recommended an ultrasound by an internist. He suspects IBD or GI Disease. Worst case could be Lymphoma. The cost of the Ultrasound is $486.00. We were able to get him the ultrasound and he is being put on special food for GI issues. Let’s hope he starts to get some of his hair back.
