| Sasha was recently rescued after suffering from many years of neglect. She is 15 years old and her teeth were discolored black, brown and yellow and her gums were swollen. The whole area around her mouth was very sensitive and she could not chew her food. Upon inspection, the vet said that he wasn’t even sure the extent of decay and recommends surgery. Other than that, he found her to be healthy, especially for her advanced age. The estimate was $2,000 for the pre-op work up, the oral surgery and aftercare medication.
