Furry Funding was contacted by Vinnie who works for Ventura County Services that help provide the homeless with housing. He was concerned about a dog that was with a homeless person because it appeared to be in p
ain. He was able to get it to a vet and found out that the dog has up to 8 kidney stones and needs surgery. We worked together with another rescue (Pets of the homeless) and they contributed to the surgery, and we agreed to pay the rest. The surgery is was on March 26th 2024. Lily had a total of 11 stones removed. This poor girl So glad we could get her help.
