Furry Funding received an urgent request to help LoKee who was hit by a car. His owner recently became homeless and has been couch surfing, staying wherever friends can temporarily help her. Her husband is currently in jail, and she is struggling to survive while trying to care for Lokee..
She is currently unemployed, but actively looking for work and doing everything she can to get back on her feet. She never imagined she would be in this position and asking for help was incredibly hard for her, but Lokee is in pain and we needed to get him to a vet ASAP.
We got him into Buena Vet in Ventura and after $800 for x-rays and meds LoKee was sent home to recover from a fractured pelvis. It will take a while, but he is one lucky little Man.
