Please Help Scarlett get the Care She Needs
Last night, sweet Scarlett came inside after using the bathroom and was suddenly limping badly. She couldn’t put any weight on her front leg. She was rushed to an emergency vet, where Scarlett’s owners were told she appears to have a fracture around her radius or ulna. They live on a very tight budget. They are workers at an addiction recovery program, and they simply don’t have the financial resources for an unexpected veterinary emergency like this.
They emergency vet told them that just the bare minimum—wrapping her leg and providing medication—would cost $1,064. They were kind enough to reduce it to $800, but they still have to make payments on that bill. They were also told that she will likely need surgery and that she needs a proper cast as soon as possible.

ached out to Furry Funding for assistance. We have a vet appointment at 3:00 today 8/11/26. We will pay for the visit and x-rays, but need help with donations.
They took Scarlett in when she was 3 months old because someone was about to abandon her on the streets. They couldn’t leave her behind. She has been a part of their family ever since and has become their “baby.” She is deeply loved and cared for in the recovery home.
