Description
On October 6, 2026, Xena underwent emergency dental surgery at Agoura Hills Animal Clinic due to severe pain and extensive dental disease. Her first surgery cost $2,400, plus $600 for initial exams and bloodwork. Unfortunately, because she is showing early signs of kidney disease, the veterinarian had to split her extractions into two surgeries, with the second scheduled in approximately six weeks. The first surgery drained her owner’s savings completely and they took out credit for some of it. Her owner is the sole income provider in their household; her partner is on an indefinite medical disability leave. They are struggling to make monthly payments while covering basic living expenses and Xena’s ongoing medical needs, including recurring UTIs, anxiety medication, and prescription food.
Xena and her sister, Raven, are registered emotional support animals for her partner, who lives with PTSD and other challenges. They provide tremendous emotional comfort and stability to our family.
They have started a GoFundMe and exhausted their personal network for donations, and they still desperately need help. So, they reached out to Furry Funding. We would like to help, but need donations.
Any contribution would make a meaningful difference and help continue providing the care she deserves.
