Wow! This very skinny, beautiful boy is safe! Thanks to Dog Days Search and Rescue. In the Beginning of November 2019, the team got word of a very skinny dog alone on a hiking trail in the hills near Sapwi Trails Park. They went out and were initially unable to locate him. Feeling concerned about how skinny the dog appeared from the intel they got and worried for a few other missing dogs in the area, they headed back out there the next day again to search. Well this time they saw the skinny dog, but he ran away. So, they got the trap out there asap to see if he would come back. After a little while and under the cover of darkness he finally did and went in! He was safe after weeks out there! Boy was he thirsty and hungry! They got word from the local Park Rangers that he has been out there for approx 3-4 weeks. We have no idea who he is. We have nicknamed him Ash. He has no microchip, but is neutered. He also had on a black collar. He appears to be a lab mix and is already doling out kisses and wanting affection from everyone. ❤️🐶
He was taken to the Agoura Hills Shelter. He was showing the rescuers lots of love already and is a sweet boy so where could his owners be? His owners were never found, but he has been adopted and on to a new happy life.
