This is Ivy, She is two and a half years old. She was rescued from the Camarillo Animal shelter. For the last year Ivy has had a problem with her back legs and it was getting worse. Furry Funding was able to get Ivy into the vet to have x-rays and a consultation with a vet to determine what is wrong. The cost for this visit was 600$ The good news is the vet put her on some medication to help with the pain. The bad news is that she needs to have double CCL surgery and was bo
rn with a subluxation that needs to be fixed.. Furry Funding along with the help from Tazzy Pet Foundation was able to get her into the Dog and Cat Hospital and the wonderful Dr. Schuman was able to do the surgery. The cost of the surgery was $3500, but the good news is that the other leg does not need surgery. It was a long road to recovery and difficult to keep her calm. She is finally cleared to start walking on a leash and will need to gain her muscle back.
