Ringo’s Freedom Ride Ringo has one heck of story.
This adorable five year old was found roaming a gas station/trucker stop with a choker chain around his neck, covered in tar, mud, manure and whatever else he managed to get into
A kind trucker named Haley
found Ringo and called a local animal rescuer so they could see if he had a chip. Turns out he had a chip and it was registered to a person in Tennessee but the gas station that he was found at is in Bakersfield, California. So you’re probably wondering how Ringo ended up in this situation, and that’s an excellent question
Ringo managed to hit the window button as his owner was at this gas station and he jumped out the window. Long story short the owner couldn’t catch Ringo and he was left at the gas station
Thankfully Haley and her amazing wife contacted a local animal rescue group and they took Ringo under their wings
These amazing ladies cleaned Ringo up and got him in with a fabulous temporary foster home
The owner was contacted all the way in Tennessee. The owner informed these ladies that he no longer wanted Ringo
( Please no judgmental or negative comments, Ringo is a better and loving place and that’s all that matters)
Well the story for Mr. Ringo doesn’t stop there
Someone in Texas saw Ringo’s story and wanted to adopt him and give a furever home but the problem now was, how to get Ringo all the way to San Antonio, Texas from Bakersfield, California. Well that’s where 805 BFF and Furry Funding comes in
We were tagged in a post about Ringo asking if we could help with a transport. Luckily
for us we have some amazing volunteers that are willing to get Ringo to his furever home
