Rocky was fighting for his life, because he wasn’t able to urinate. and he hadn’t eaten or had anything for days. He was so weak and lethargic that he could barely walk. He was suffering and needed immediate attention.
The vet had told Rocky’s owner that he needed emergency surgery. The cost was $2,800. Without it, he would die.
Rocky is not just a dog — he is family. He had been by their side through everything, and the thought of losing him because they couldn’t afford to save him was unbearable. They reached out to Furry Funding, and this truly took a village to solve. Thanks to Skyline vet for agreeing to do the surgery late in the day. The money was cobbled together from us, a vet tech, and care credit. We also are paying for 3 months of the special diet that Rocky needs.
