Snowflake is only a year and a half old. He was part of a litter that was born to a stray momma cat. She was taken in by a good Samaritan so she could have her kittens inside. She kept Snowflake, but he got out of the house and was hit by a car. She was able to get him to an emergency clinic and got x-rays which determined he had a break in his hip and was told by that vet to amputate. We were able to get the x-rays reviewed and what he needed was an FHO surgery. He had his surgery and is home recovering and doing very 
well. His mom stated that Snowflake is doing great and after surgery he is eating well and walking around already.
