Sludge

We received this request to help this poor cat. His name is Sludge, he is only 2 years old and he had an Umbilical Hernia and Pelvis fracture. This is what his owner said:

“Hi im 19 living in Meiners oaks an unincorporated area next to Ojai. I pay $800 a month for a room in a house with 4 other roommates. I work as a server at the Ojai noodle house. I’m there pretty much every day. I make about 1500 a month from said job. Unfortunately, my monthly expenses are about 1200-1500 a month, i’ve been supporting my mother and recently paid for my car insurance. The surgery required is $1800 and i’ve already spent 500 at said vet, Its a good price especially how late notice it is but i still can’t afford it. With my

check coming in today i can officially put down half. my grandma is supporting me with 200 dollars and the humane society has a lifetime voucher for a 100 dollars i can call and receive. I have 3 cats and they are my pride and joy and 2 other are old i never expected my recently kitten to be injured like this. on the night of the twentieth i had given her dinner and she was inside playing in the kitchen. i had went into my room, and I had come back to see she had suffered major trauma. So, i still don’t know what happened other than guesses of a fall or struck by something. its a hernia in where her intestines have come out her abdomen body wall.
