Daisy was in the shelter for over 300 days!! Overlooked because she wasn’t a puppy and she was a gray pittie. When she was assessed, she was labeled as “not good with other dogs”. Well after all that time in the shelter, she was adopted by an amazing family and became an emotional support dog for a family member. Daisy is one of the most living hippos ever. She has a new puppy brother who she adores. Unfortunately, Daisy had a small tumor erupt and break thru the skin. She went to the ER where they bandaged her up and told her the tumor needed to be removed. Daisy was taken to a local vet and they performed the surgery thanks to donations from all of you. Founders, Chris Sullivan, and Cathy Trent were able to meet with the family and give Daisy lots of love. We are so happy that we could help Daisy and that she will continue to be a loved member of the family.
