Ella and Puppies

We were contacted by a man who was recently homeless, but has since been given a second chance and is now housed through Section 8. In order to keep his dog Ella with me, she must be spayed, vaccinated, and licensed.

Unfortunately, right before he was approved for housing, Ella went into her first heat and became pregnant. She gave birth to her puppies the same day he signed the lease. Right now, all of the dogs are still living in the river bottom, and he is trying desperately to do the right thing for them.

He needs help covering the cost to get Ella and the other adult dogs spayed, as well as vaccinations and licensing for all of them. He also wants to make sure the puppies are healthy, up to date on shots, and fixed before going to safe, loving homes.

He has helped others transport injured and sick animals to get care, and he truly cares about doing right by these dogs. He wants to prevent more unwanted litters and keep these animals from ending up in shelters where so many are euthanized.
