Help Junior Get the Dental Surgery She Desperately Needs
Junior is a sweet stray cat who has been struggling to eat because of severe pain and inflammation in her mouth. When she tries to eat, she often cries out in pain and runs away from her food. It is heartbreaking to watch her be hungry but unable to eat comfortably.
She has been taken to the veterinarian twice, and she has been treated with steroids to reduce the inflammation. The medication helps her feel better and allows her to eat, but unfortunately, the relief is only temporary. Once the steroids wear off, the pain and difficulty eating return.
The veterinarian suspects that Junior is suffering from feline stomatitis, a painful condition that causes severe inflammation in the mouth. The recommended long-term treatment is extensive dental surgery to remove her teeth and give her a chance to live and eat without this constant pain.
The past veterinary care has been covered by a good Samaritan that wants to adopt her once she has a FELV test but unfortunately, her income is not enough to cover the cost of the surgery and necessary testing. She has reached out to furry funding for help.

- Pre-surgical bloodwork: $130.00
- FIV/FeLV testing: $41.45
- Cerenia injection: $52.50
- Estimated medications: $30.00–$120.00
- Meloxidyl oral medication: $49.04
- IV catheter and fluids, dental nerve block, full-mouth dental X-rays, and a follow-up extraction-site examination are also included in the veterinary estimate.
