This sweet pug Lollypop was really struggling, and her mom reached out to Furry Funding because she couldn’t do this alone anymore.
Lollypop suffers from severe skin allergies that have gotten worse over time. Her mom has tried everything she could think of—buying different treatments, creams, and remedies—but nothing has brought her relief. She chews her paws constantly, scratches through the night, and makes that heartbreaking thumping sound because she just can’t get comfortable. Her belly was so itchy that she drags herself across the carpet trying to get some relief. It’s painful to watch.
On top of that, she’s started scooting and spinning again, which may mean her anal glands are impacted—something she’s struggled with before and may need treatment for again.
We were able to get her into the vet and she was given medication and a skin scrape to check for infection.
