On April 16th & 17th, Pepper gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies. One of them, tiny girl Spot, was born with we thought cleft palate and wasn’t able to nurse. We were able to get her into a vet, and while it isn’t a cleft palate, the puppy needed to be tube fed.
Pepper herself also wasn’t doing well. She was extremely underweight, not eating properly, had ongoing discharge after birth. She was also seen and is now doing very well.
The family was already struggling financially, and didn’t have the funds for the urgent veterinary care both Pepper and Spot. Furry Funding stepped up and helped this little family.

This is Spot now 5/22/26 She is still being tube fed, but is now starting to eat gruel. Happy life sweet one.
